This could be a great category - I think with a character like Joker, the amount of personality in the sketch (like this one) could matter as much as the technical skill!

i'm sorry to say i can't vote, none of them shout "THIS IS THE JOKER" to me.....are there 1-2 with good art (imo), yes.

 

a sketch has to do more then just look good with the art it has to capture the essence of the chacter to be called the best, only 1 comes remotely close in this case

 

sucks even worse bc i love the joker, but that's how i pick my votes on these

well the two I thought would be in the lead are. So at least it looked like I was on the right track

 

I agree that none of them jumped off the page and screamed Joker to me either. But its all for fun so I did vote.

 

I went with the Bill Dinh but I can see the Sayger winning just as easily.

I do not agree with some of the recent posts. I think many of these covers capture the essence of joker's insanity. I think the the difference is many of these covers are headshots or busts or have little to no background or no add on characters in the shot.

 

I love many of these covers it was a difficult vote for me.
