All GA stories are implausible. It was required. The Feds even set up a Comic Plot Infeasibility Bureau to regulate the industry.

Point well taken. I easily suspend belief with pure fantasy or sci fi, but when it has the appearance of historical fiction, it always makes me step back a bit, and wonder what the artist was thinking, or whether he had any real-world grounding at all.

 

Did not mean to cr@p - sorry. Very nice books here.

No Problem.

 

I've got a small handful of raw FH books coming up. They qualify as errors in judgement when buying off ebay or other places but I will be passing them on for anyone wishing some decent looking reader copies.

Well, not always. Daredevil Comics had sometimes pretty realistic stories, especially after issue #35, dealing with street crimes and juvenile delinquency. Some Uncle Sam stories, setting aside the super-human abilities of the hero, have realistic setups.

Lizard’s question was appropriate, as that cover is way more weird than, say, Airboy’s origins. :)
