How does the boardie witness work out? I very rarely slab books so I don't understand how the SS program works out.

You're the best, Kayakkid -- thanks for keeping us updated on the market. So cool. Question: how do signatures generally impact the value of a book? Single signed vs. double signed? Or triple signed (give love to our colorist!)...?

It really depends on the availability of who the signatures belong to. Does the talent charge for an autograph? Is it in a Yellow SS label? Lots of variables. There is almost always a positive bump when you have both the writer / artist together. If there is a separate inker or cover artist, that helps too. At the end of the day, it is all about preference. Some buyers want just the writer. Some want just the artist. Some want no signatures.

I signed up for a mailing list awhile ago for OA but hadnt heard anything since. Didnt know if anyone had any new info.Also that would be awesome if M.K. would post on here.

Hey all -- the original TODD art will be going online within the next two weeks. We have a mailing list -- just email us at FeelUgly@gmail.com and we will keep you in the loop!

 

I'm also expecting to put up MK's work on AIR (Vertigo -- he did 24 issues) UNWRITTEN (Vertigo -- he did five issues last year) and his New York Times illustrations (he illustrates the Op-Ed page and the Book Review section).
