Well grades are in. I will tally scores over the weekend as work is hectic this time of year and announce winners on Monday, which will be Tuesday in America.

Book 1: Amazing Spider-Man 194 did not pass prescreen.

Book 2: Uncanny X-Men 110 did not pass prescreen.

Book 3: Uncanny X-Men 111 9.6 White

Book 4: Uncanny X-Men 115 9.8 White

Book 5: Uncanny X-Men 40 9.4 OW/W

Book 6: Uncanny X-Men 66 9.2 OW/W

Book 7: Uncanny X-Men 64 9.2 White

Book 8: Captain America 111 9.2 OW/W

 

This was a good sub for me.

Wow. Congrats! I was way off on the last 3...seriously under-graded them.

 

Yeah, 6 & 8 threw me for a loop. Must have been the cleanup done w/ the press.

 

Either way, as I've said before, great books!

 

Not sure how that ASM 194 missed the cut.

well, if that ASM was pre-screen for 9.6, the dot of stain by the leg of Spiderman on the top left corner will likely limit that book no higher 9.2 in my opinion....at least that was how I graded that book.

 

Yeah. My hope was that it was just a darkening of the ink but I don't think so. The other ASM 194 I submitted got 9.8 W. :)

How did i miss this?? :(

 

Well, I played along, without looking at the final grades, and this is what I graded them as:

ASM 194 - 9.6

Xmen 110- 9.6

111- 9.6

115 - 9.6 if that wasn't writing near the front right edge

40- 8.0

66- 9.0

64- 9.2

Cap- 111- 8.5

looks like I only got 2 bull eyes and then I was off by one on the rest...and 5 out of 6 PQ.

Rechecked my crib sheet when I got home. Nailed three, one within 1, and the other two within 2, and 4 out 6 on pq.
