I got this from a very known dealer, who is famed for his grading skills.

I have to say that I do not agreed with his grade on this comic, but before I ask for a refund, let's se what do you guys think.

I am new at grading just by what I've seen and read on these msg boards I'm gonna venture a guess of 6.5 (just want to see if I'm close). My reasons being are there are stress marks along the staples and staple edge side of the book, on the back of the book it appears to be water marks and along the top front there seems to be a crease.

FC looks 7.5 or so..

 

BC destroys the grade. Its maybe a 5.5..a 6.0 tops in my opinion. Staining (potential water at the bottom) and foxing, etc...

could it be foxing? take a shot of the interior of the bc if you can. From that I might be able to determine if that is a stain or foxing.

The book was sold to me as a 8.5

I never asked for a back cover scan since the seller is a very reputable dealer, but I'll do starting now, no matter the seller's reputation.

Anyway, he agrees on a full refund, I already packaged the comics, so I can not take a pic of the interior cover.

I would definitely ask for a refund Matteo.

Corners are sharp but the various defects keep it below the VF range.

 

The front cover doesn’t look so bad, I think it could stretch for a VF 8.0: these kind of covers look always worse than in hand.

 

And… yes, you get to know the sellers by experience.

I finally got the refund from the seller, but not the return shipping fees.

When I shipped the book back, I asked for a full refund, including the return fees because it was totally the seller's fault, the item was hugely overgraded.

Today I got my refund but the seller did not mention the return shipping fees.

Should I insist? Am I in my right to ask for a full refund?

I belive so, but I'd like to know your opinion.

Yes go for full refund. Looks like a VG/FN to me.

If shipping fees are consistent, I‘d say yes.

If not, just drop that seller from your list. That’s what I usually do.
