Whose got the best copy on the boards?

I`d be impressed if someone out there had a better copy...

You will not be impressed. That book is simply unsurpassed (worship)

Church at its Churchiest.

A scan couldn't possibly do it justice. One of the great things about Fawcetts from that time period is the super glossy, thick cover stock. They held color really well. That copy has got to have color just dripping off of it. It would be so cool to see it in person, up close, and unslabbed.

Fixed.

Without wishing to appear arrogant, I`d be impressed if someone out there had a better copy of these books (and I don`t just mean the CGC grade).

Its books like this one that show why Edgar Church is king! Some day I will break down and buy a Church copy of something.

This one seems to be scarce, anyone else here got one?

That smile she has...brrr. :fear:

Is this the only male superhero in the 40's with a female sidekick?

Bulletman and Bulletgirl come to mind...

At the risk of inflating Tim's ego, that book is so amazing.

This is the only copy CGC has certified. It's de-slabbed now. I've not been able to locate anyone else with one. This is not the Photo-Journal copy, nor is it the one on GCD.

If Tim keeps posting books like this I don't care if his ego inflates to the size of Captain Nazi's!

I'm, posting this shabby little article because I once made the mistake of passing on a 9.6 copy, which I still regret. Love the cover, love the Robinson artwork, love the epic bad girl story. Ergo epic fail on my part. Curious to know if anyone has a nice copy to show?

Actually the best comparison isn't with other GA titles but Miller's Dark Knight. ("Good soldier.")
