Favorite Modern Marvel comic? (Released in the last few months)

I liked Secret Avengers #1 -- the new Nick Spencer title. It's the movie-version Avengers, or pretty close to them, and a fun twisty read. Recommended.

I only have 2 marvel titles on my pull list anyway; uncanny x-men and deadpool.

 

I still love x-men and the old marvel stuff, but most of their new stuff does not keep me interested at all

No offense, but I'm amazed at the love for Superior Spiderman here. I read the first issue and wasn't feeling it at all. Does it pick up?

It really does! I agree issue one was a bit but it's a steep climb from issue #1

I've read the first three issues of the Punisher War Zone mini series and it's been a lot better than I thought it would be.

 

I like Punisher and I like the Avengers but pitting them against each other didn't sound like it would work but I'm looking forward to reading the last two issues.
