Silverprints??

Hi guys

 

Heritage has been selling a few EC silverprints each week for the past couple of months. I have wanted to bid but have not as I don't really know what these are. My understanding is they are not hand drawn line work but are hand colored.

 

Are they worth buying? It seems like a good way to get some OA cover art at a decent price. I also like how they show part of the production process, are from the period and are unique.

 

Opinions appreciated.

If you can get them at a good price, they seem like a Great way to get cover art. They are basically test prints from what I understand....I'd guarantee someone here will know exactly what they are. I've thought a bout it a few times, but in the end I think I really like the large black and white format of originals
