The Ernie Colon Super Powers Mystery art piece

Hey guys,

 

I bought this in 1996 at Megacon. It's a drawing of the Super Powers toy line by Ernie Colon. But what the heck is it? It's dated 10/85, which is after some of the Super Powers figures were released. It's labeled "Special Projects". Another interesting factoid is that Ernie Colon gets no credit on Wikipedia for any work on Super Powers. Anyone know how I can contact him and ask him directly?

Not sure on the price but it'll likely be worth more to a toy collector than an original comic art collector.
