What Modern Marvel books are worth Collecting?

21 posts in this topic

I have followed a few of the more recent (late 2012, 2013) Marvel auctions.

Of which, I focused on the more rare variants.

The prices below are accurate.

Notes:

All comics are 9.8 CGC blue label.

All values/prices are per comicspriceguide.com

All sold for prices are averages from ebay.

To paint with a broad brush: with the exception of super, super hot comics (currently: Walking Dead, Saga, Revival, etc), you can find comics at roughly one third of the price book value.

Again, this is to get a general idea of what some of these have gone for on Ebay lately. I am a newbie. I cannot help to analyze this figures. Please engage with an expert for any advice.

But my two cents: I prefer one rare variant (1:150 for an example) over a quantity of four of their "normal" counterparts.
