Dude, have you not seen some of the FDQ exits around here? There's way way way more F'ing D than this, by exponential factors.

Sorry for my opinion. I am not here to argue with others. :foryou: I am here to talk about comic books. :cloud9:

Everyone has drama in life at times myself included. I just don't choose to make my drama public debate on message boards. Or to get the cyber pat on the back from people.

Thank you to everyone who gave me kind words. I don't think I will be as... prolific of a poster as before, but I am back to reading the boards and will have some books up for sale soon.

I hate cryptic posts, if your going to make a goodbye post say why, don't just leave it up in the air so you can get 1000 people asking what happened.

Yes, because everyone's personal life is definitely your business.

Thank you for understanding, Speedy.

What are the chances we'll find out?
Sadly, if I'm not mistaken, he had posted in another thread that he's out of work and was looking for input on how to best maximize selling off his collection.

Hopefully things will take a turn for the better soon.

That's what I recall - good luck in the job search Neil, and I hope everything works out

My apologies folks, I was making a pun on his user name. I remember the posts about selling his collection and/or picking up and moving across country. I suspect maybe he's packing for the move and that's why he won't be online? I can't imagine much more that would preclude someone from posting online from the information available.

I won't be moving, not yet, and definitely not to where I thought I might be going.

Except that slym started it with his cryptic post. Understandable to want to know why. (shrug)

Understandable certainly, but no reason to get flapped. :)

Don't jump on me for wanting to know what happened if someone posts something out of the ordinary on here. If you don't want questions or don't want people to know then don't make that type of post is what I'm getting at.

This is nothing against Slym (I don't know him) but as a general rule for boards or social media if your going to post give a little insight and if you don't want people to know then don't post is my philosophy.

I don't share my personal life here so much, and in another thread elsewhere, there was a little insight on as to why.

I am sorry that I don't share your philosophy, but I do know other people tend to worry when people just disappear, so I thought I would let everyone know that, however long i might be gone, I will be back.

He also posted in the "What do women want what do men want" thread. If what he posted has any truth to it his girl cheated on him, and I think he is just taking some time to deal with stuff.

That was my guess.

Good luck, Slym :foryou:

Wow man. Talk about life ting on someone all at once.

You have no idea - at least, I certainly hope you don't, and never will.

Neil, all the best.

You're going through a tough time, with some real painful bumps in the road. I get it that you were just reaching out for support, and some misunderstood and categorized this as a FDQ thread. I didn't see it that way.

You don’t have to miss him,

He is here watching his reaction to his thread.

I just have a conversation with him,

feel free to PM him...[/b][/font]

:hi:

If this were funny, I'd laugh.

I was here PMing with a few friends, the only reason I saw your PM to me, as "nice" as it was. :eyeroll: This is the first time I have been in this thread or on the boards since a few minutes past when I originally posted.

But please, keep up with your completely wrong analyses of me. It makes you more of a fool in my eyes then when you posted your PM to me.

Duly noted. I will never post anything directly to you ever again.

Ignore Magnus. He's wrong most of the time.

Welcome back. Hopefully better days ahead :wishluck:
