I've never ever seen a mylar bag that had insect or rodent damage.

Just read this post. It has not been updated in sometime. I bought some bags from CGC-Mylars recently in 4-2015. Are the bags he is selling now Mylars or the same ones discussed in the beginning of the thread?

They are NOT made of Mylar.

After I posted this with the link of the supplier, several other sellers must have decided if anybody can get away with false advertising on ebay they might as well do it too

 

These sellers are falsely advertising their bags as Mylar:

cgc-mylars

comicsgamescards

ghezziky

 

There are a couple other sellers using "Like Mylar" or "Mylar style" which I did not include.

 

Every bag I have seen listed as "Resealable" or 1.6 or 1.7 Mil thick is NOT Mylar

 

I used to list the actual Gerber 2 mil Mylar bags, but got pretty disgusted with it, so stopped stocking them in quantity
