2003 March Comics Signature Sale Up

52 posts in this topic

That Action #1 has to be one of the nicest FN-'s I have ever seen.

But upon close inspection it looks as if there is some sort of color

touch in the yellow along the spine - must be a trick of the CGC holder.

But what a pretty book - looks much more than one point nicer than the Cage copy.

I also guess that Parrino is tired of buying up high grade copies of Marvel Comics #1, as the other CGC 8.5 is being offered here.

Now we'll see if it brings more than the 8.0 Detective #27 brought awhile back.

Yeah, I'm sure you did just that with the DD 81..btw, the final bid certainly supported my 300 dollar worth theory. lol, why don't you go price some more 100 dollar books at 500 dollars.

Enough wasting time

Nah, I don't really have much more interest in him. Not planning on buying any of his books or even bidding. That's about all he has going for him. Anyways, where is all this supposed abundance of Silver in this Signature auction..I could've sworn someone said it was going to be awesome?

Those G.A. books are going to dominate the entire auction...I wonder if that's a first?

If I start an Official gman vs murph thread, will you boys go play there???

Nah, remember your other failed "Official" threads. Their bickering knows no boundaries! frown.gif

Yea, there are some sweet books up for bid. I especially liked the #10 and #26!

I would LOVE to win some of the Gaines file copies, but I'm sure they'll end up selling for way more than I can afford. Help a brotha out?? tongue.gif

Matt, just stop bidding on everything under the Sun with your many aliases and concentrate on the file copies. Hey, if you are willing to buy multiple copies of ASM #1, you can afford these copies! wink.gif

Hehe, I dunno. It's the only CGC'ed copy in any grade...maybe $150-$200.

Which is more than it's worth! What good is it owning a Cherry Poptart without being able to see her inside?!?!
