1000 Books must go, Copper Edition

Hello all,

 

One of my best friends that I collected with growing up has moved to Texas. He didn't want to take what's left of his collection, so we worked out a deal for me to sell it.

 

I will be offering close to 1000 books in two threads on the boards. One in G/S/B, with roughly 70 books, and one in Copper/Modern with close to 1000 books. Most will be $1. I had already sold a few of his better books, so there aren't really any keys. However many of the 1981-1984 books are very high grade Original Owner books. The 4 Wolverine #1s I submitted a while back all came back 9.8 White.

 

Copper/Modern will be mostly 1980-1984 with just a few later. There will be a few that might cross over. Most books are Marvel with a few DC and a few other publishers.

 

PMs with questions are OK, but since these books will be very cheap, I will hold off on offers until everything is listed. Then, I'll be very willing to work out deals.

 

I will be using Overstreet #40 as a guide, so hopefully prices have gone up.

 

RULES:

No Probation Listers or HOS Members

Paypal, Checks or MOs are preferred

Shipping will be exact through USPS, but no media mail will be used, sorry.

I will only post a few scans, requests for scans are welcome.

Returns are no problem, if you're unhappy for any reason

Take it pending scan will be overruled by an unconditional take it.

I will ship outside the U.S., but remember shipping is 100% on you. I'm not sure these books would be worth a heavy shipping cost.

 

I will let piles build until you tell me you're ready to check out, or I finish listing. I will list several books per post. I do have a kudos thread somewhere confirming my lack of grading ability, poor packaging, and all around difficulty in dealing with.

 

For the Copper thread, I will do my beat to list alphabetically. Some may be out of order though. I am going to start with a small amount of magazines and graphic novels.

 

I will add, there are many #1 issues coming. Mostly lesser collected titles and mini-series, but still #1s.
