I bought hinterkind but haven't had time to read it yet. Hoping it's good, vertigo has been killing it.

Hinterkind is NYC after the people are gone for the most part. Two people lifting a zebra was unrealistic. The story switches to a badass succubus and the line "I wasn't talking to you" makes want to read more.

Am I the only one reading Hinterkind.

 

The art is kinda lame, but we have a story here. It's reminding me of how Vertigo used to be. While everyone's buying up all the Image titles, Vertigos putting out some good stuff.

I've tried Hinterkind, Dead Boy Detectives, Wake and Trillium. Due to limited budget, I only continued with former two.

I didn't care for DBD really. I love Wake, and haven't tried Trillium yet either.

You're not ... I was skeptical after the first issue but by issue # 3, there are enough layers in place it seems to make it a good ongoing. Now, we need one of the many players to give us a perspective of the world before we lose interest

I thought DBD was interesting enough. The start was a bit off-putting but the end made up for it.

I've got Hinterkind and FBP on my file. I really like the artwork on both titles. Was considering dropping Hinterkind because it and Manifest Destiny was a little too much crossing of the streams for me. Also, Trillium and the Wake are no brainers.
