PGM FF 79….and is my scanner Shot

Hi Guys sorry if this is not the right place to ask the second part of my post.

 

My trusty Epson 1200s SCSI scanner is giving some very washed out results. It is normally very representative colour wise but to day the results are not very true at all.

 

I have supplied two sets of photos, the darker ones, which are much more representative of the comic in hand have been adjusted in Photoshop (shock horror as I never every usually do that) and the lighter paler photos are what my scanner is producing.

 

All settings in scanner are the standard auto that I always use. Is this the end for my trusty 1200s. :P
