KirbyJack
Frisco, if I didn’t know better, I’d think you were calling these treasures formulaic. That Stan was using and reusing old writer’s chestnuts that he knew would work. Good thing I know better.

I would never have the temerity to espouse such deprecating dialogue about our beloved Merry Marvel Mythos!!!! Any similarity or likeness to another issue or character is a mere coincidence and should be instantly dismissed as such!!! Now that THAT nonsense is out of the way, isn't it cool how many creatures that they called "The Thing"???
Jasonmorris1000000
My guess is that Stan Lee couldn't get behind snot boogers on fire, which drove an inevitable wedge between him and Jack Kirby.

Jasonmorris1000000
This one is the very first comic that has stories by Kirby and Ditko. For a awhile I thought it was the first Published work by Ditko but then I learned about Daring Love #1. It crazy how expensive that romance comic is. Jasonmorris1000000
More rare than AF #15. Anybody want to make me a direct trade? The old 15 for 15 swap-er-roo? . I wonder if Ditko pitched Drooling-Tape-Worm-Man to Stan Lee? Edited June 21, 2020 by Jasonmorris1000000 . TheWatcher
