I mean seriously guys - the cool books stuff is ridiculous. The guy just does not have the type of inventory that supports your ridiculous hypothesis.

Am I just supposed to sit there and wait for the meme graphic to change...?

I'm responding to no one in general, with an opinion no one asked for...

I'm tired of people reacting to buzzwords. Language requires context for meaning, and words require context in order to be offensive. If I say to someone "your post gave me cancer", I'm not making fun of cancer, I'm making fun of the post. If you're going to be offended because people die of cancer, then logically you should be offended when someone says "this thread is like a car wreck; I can't look away" because people die in car wrecks. My dad died of a brain aneurysm when I was young; am I supposed to get upset every time I hear someone use aneurysm sarcastically?

Pinning universal meaning and intent on single words is butchering the language, just as bad grammar and using the wrong words butchers the language.

If you were a chick I'd marry you, buy you a big honking diamond and take you for a cruise around the world. And I'd leave the sex as optional.

Um....you do realize that you are showing bigotry.

Here is the definition.

big·ot·ry

noun

noun: bigotry; plural noun: bigotries

bigoted attitudes; intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself.

The difference is I'm not intolerant of anyone here...I disagree, which is fine. And to a certain level, almost everyone exhibits bigotry.

However, I'll fully admit I disagree and don't hide behind a keyboard. The "circle"...they will not.

Are you saying I hide behind a keyboard because I didn't approach you in Charlotte? What would've been the point? I wasn't going to buy anything from you (shrug)

No, I'm not saying that. I was fully aware that you were at Heroes and I was 100% confident you wouldn't say anything. Which is fine. Had you spoken, I would have been nice, whether you believe it or not.

And believe you me, I have no misperceptions of whether you were going to buy anything or not. I'm smarter than the average bear.

oh?

It's not his fault.

Maybe you need to clarify your point here.

What would have been the purpose of Logan approaching you in Charlotte? And how is NOT approaching you 'hiding behind a keyboard?'

Are you intimating a physical confrontation?

If Logan sees you as the type of seller who is morally suspect, and doesn't want to do business with you, what exactly would be the reason for him to 'approach' you at Heroes Con?

There's no debate in his mind, and you know that, so clearly you're taunting him here.

Essentially you're saying, "You don't like me? Figures you wouldn't say it to my face."

but the fact was, I was being a loudmouth jerk who wouldn't let things go and ground my opponents...deservedly or not...into a fine powder over any issue that got stuck in my craw, and if they brought a knife to the fight, I brought a gun. I didn't start it, but I sure as hell made sure I always ended it.

Growing up, my friends and I used to call this kind of world view as the "Red Sky" syndrome. As in, what color is the sky in the fantasy world you live in.

Another humorous expression we had for it, was "you can't hurt me". Specifically, this kid had been beat up and as the guy who beat him up walked away, he gets up, crying and drooling, and yells "you can't hurt me".

In the internet era, I always found this image to suffice, in this case, the lion would be your "gun" or "finely powdered enemies".

I know this is just a cute attempt to "put me in my place" for what you imagine is me "speaking too highly of myself."

I respect your attempt, if not your motive. You do not understand that I am not bragging; what I said above is not to my credit. I can't help but notice that you cut out the sentence immediately following the above, in which I called my behavior pure poison.

You're a newb, so you're not aware of the past. That is forgivable, though you speak of what you do not know, which is never advisable. You do have a habit of speaking on many subjects of which you are not really aware.

However, if you're going to ignore someone...you should probably actually...ya know...IGNORE them, and not respond or refer to the things they say.

Yeah, what IS this whole silly nonsense of "I have you on ignore!" - the need to proclaim to everyone how they don't agree with whoever.

Like stomping around and letting everyone know is so much more important than the actual ignore part.

And still RESPONDING to them afterwards... oh my god, can it get anymore drama queen than THAT.

I agree with whomever has the coolest books.

That guy had to sell all his for a piece of art. If you are lucky the next catchphrase will be "I agree with whomever has the coolest art."

Or, someone tells you to never respond to one of their posts again because the two of you never end on a good note. But then they come back later responding to multiple posts you make that has nothing to do with them. The amount of drama queen with that approach is just chock full of crazy.

Wait, did you mean the other guys? Oh. Then the opposite holds true. We don't do what we say for others to follow.

BTW, Patton was a very controversial historical figure...a hero and a world-class a-hole.

I'm a little offended that RMA would use Patton as his location.

you just proved it can ;)

(and that's assuming the rest of what you said were even true).

But if you really feel the need to have a go, might as well PM it to me, rather then getting yet another back and forth going inside this thread....

Which now will actually just be a back with no forth, cause, well you know ;)

I have no idea what situation you're talking about, as I've never told anyone here any such thing, that I remember anyway.

I just know that when I someday put someone on ignore, if I ever do, it won't be to stomp around proclaiming it to everyone, it'll be because I truly no longer wish to hear what they have to say.

I don't know what's worse, that, or the "I'm just going to notify the mods everytime you say anything I think is suspect, and see if anything sticks."

Come on, people. Let it go.

Jimminy Freakin' Christmas, is everyone here going to respond to me in passive aggressive code words?

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
