Is there pineapple on that??

 

Yep. Pineapple, hamburger, three cheeses and SPAM.

 

That's called a Hawaiian burger if memory serves correctly and it is actually pretty good. I did a variation of that last summer for a tailgate I ran. I substituted the spam for bacon though. I glaze the pineapple with a BBQ Spicy pineapple sauce that I found at Target and grill it on the BBQ.

 

I think I saw the concept on an episode of Bourdain or Man vs Food once.

For the first time in decades I've flashed back and recalled the lunches I had at primary school. A lot of the time they were okay, but on Fridays there was always a particularly horrible salad, with slices of cold, boiled egg, tasteless grated cheese, and slices of cold Spam. I've tried not to think about Spam ever since.
