The label on 9.9 and 10 books

154 posts in this topic

Why does the grade in the top left look slightly faded on 9.9 and 10 books? It would really anyone to have a near perfect or perfect book and then have a label that doesn't match the rest of my books.

They are actually in gold and look really great.

No offense, but those look like drek. Osborn 1? Really? Probably not even worth what you paid to have it slabbed.

Just saying...

Or even worse he bought them slabbed at exorbitant prices. Again no offence.

Yep, classic example of "No offence, but" meaning "Prepare for some totally intentional offence"

Why would you say that about someone's collectible if it is something they appreciate? That just doesn't even make sense to make a statement like this other than to offend the person sharing their prized books.

I often put in a low bid on any 10 or even 9.9's that are on Ebay, and usually don't win. Sometimes I do. I like all comics, and I really like 10's. I now have a CGC box almost full of 10's and one almost full of 9.9's. I am a grade snob, and don't buy anything less than a 9.8. I also don't feel the need to explain my collection to some 23 year old that live's in his step-mom's basement and is currently 'exploring his options' about what pizza place to work for, but don't mind saying what I collect. Post up your 9.9's and 10's that are better- I might buy them from you so you can get your 1972 Vega Wagon worked on...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA.
