Hey guys picked this up for $5 at the lcs was wondering if this would be worth the investment of grading. Defects I detected 3 spine dings one at lower staple 2 near top staple. Lower bottom corner has a little issue and some cover could probably use a cleaning. If its worth it I'm thinking of pressing cleaning and having it graded thanks guys for having a look.

Whether or not a book is worth grading truly depends on your reason for doing it. If it's a hot book in high grade and you want to sell it, it can be worth it. If you suspect restoration, that's a very good reason to grade it. If you want to preserve it, there are cheaper ways of going about it that are just as good- if not better- than slabbing it.

In the case of your book here, it's too bright to really see any detail. It looks nice- probably at least a 9.2- and a dry clean will make it look nicer but may or may not bump it.
