That's why no one was bidding on it. I think it was at $15.00 in the last seconds, and I threw a $25.00 bid on it, and got it for $23.50, but it never got sent, and I was refunded. When it was relisted it was just a single shot, and not a group shot like that one. You could see it much clearer in the second listing. Clean, white, square corners, and the same torn sticker on the bag. That's how I knew it was the same book. The seller even admits it was. The book that arrived the other day is not that book. Believe me. He put it in the same bag with the torn sticker, but forgot to change the backing board from the Fine copy he was selling at the same time.

For a few minutes I was scrolling up looking for your posts that he was responding too. I kept scrolling past the one with an Avatar all confused trying to find you.

 

And I have no idea what a "Numbiest of the numbies" is either. Those people in the WC... yea not so sure about them folks...

Still wouldn't mind seeing pics and links to all of this. It all is sounding odd. Your also quick to get defensive with someone who has been here a while. That never goes well.

 

And $23.50 for what you are describing of a Silver Age Spidey doesn't sound that far off.

This thread is going nowhere. Yes, a Fine copy is worth about that much. I didn't pay anything for it, I wasn't burned, or scammed. The seller sent this copy to make up for not sending the copy I won at auction, and to try to get me to revise the negative feedback. It's too late because of how much time has passed. Even if he had sent the VF/NM copy I can't revise the feedback now because of the time passed. I don't want this book in my collection, and the seller doesn't want it back. The only odd thing is that no one wants this "supposed" VF/NM comic except shadroch, and he's doing some strange things to try to get it when all he had to do was say he wanted it, and it would have been his for the asking.

Chris S. That was refunded when it never arrived. That would have been a good deal if it had arrived and was the book in the listing I just posted. That sticker on the bag is staring me in the face right now, but that is not the same comic I received. This is not a nice copy.
