Six-Gun Western #3 VF+ : $80

Looks like an insane high grade for such an early Atlas Western. Bought on eBay and I would keep it for myself or sell it for at least $150 but I am almost sure this book was pressed. It looks like a pancake with a very flat spine and surface. What a shame.. For this reason, I am hammering the price.

Front cover looks NM-/NM but bc has small tear/crease on left edge that has been completely flattened out.

If like me, you don't like pressed books, this one is not for you. If you don't mind pressing, this is a gorgeous copy at a great price.

No problems Jim, for you, I can hold the book up to 30 days.

^^

:sumo: Press it, press it until the ink squirts out :baiting: GOD BLESS....

Journey into Mystery #120 : $50 SOLD

Another eBay purchase and another pressed book I am almost sure. Book looks VF/NM 9.0 from the front but it looks to have been humidified before being pressed and that gives a strange feeling and a yellow tone to the bottom half of inside pages of the book and to the back cover. It also looks like a pancake. I am hammering the price for these reasons.

You said you are "hammering" the price...Thor is using his large hammer to hammer something right there on the cover...nice pun...just act like it was intentional :gossip:

Fantastic Four #75 F/VF to VF- : $49

Book looks VF+ to VF/NM but lower staple has tear along it on the front; it has not pulled through completely, still attached to book but tear is there so I am hammering the book; if you can live with the tear, it's a beautiful copy at a great price.

It appears there are certain books which tend to have this problem. My copy is in the VFNM range but the bottom staple detached entirely, and cleanly. :(

Another book I have found has frequently this problem is FF #63, but I have had a copy of #67 as well…
