On my part, there could be interest for original french editions of either Blake & Mortimer or Bob & Bobette.

Luc Orient would also not be bad (especially first editions ).

I used to have one, my favorite story, "SOS Meteores", but I gifted it to our cathedral’s sacristan, which is from the Ivory Coast (and thus of french language) but does not read comics.

Not sure he has read it, but these are so awesome stories and thought it could have been nicer to got his son involved in comics too (he was born in Italy).

 

I would have also loved to find a US edition some day, really crazy it was labeled/marketed mostly as a "children comic" in the USA – these are masterpieces of european comic book art.
