Air Pirates #1 Uncut Sheets-CLOSING SUNDAY NIGHT

Directly from Dan O'Neill comes the most unusual Air Pirates item I have ever offered for sale. These covers of issue #1 (art by Bobby London) were printed "4 up" which translates into four per sheet. After the fronts were fully printed they were run through again to do the black & white inside covers. What I have are some of the leftover covers that were either not used and are full front & back or were never run through the 2nd time (with a blank back). Some were missing a color and are "test": sheets. These are not unique as I have 14 of them in various stages of production and in various conditions. They could be cut up into 4 separate covers and sold that way if so desired. I will be framing one of the 4 ups for my wall. There were some more of these that were available but they were low grade. The ones I have were "cherry picked" & will be the highest grade ones ever to come on the market. They are approximately 23 X 30. Three of these have been signed & sketched by O'Neill.

 

The deal...Postage in the U.S. is included. They have to be sent rolled in a tube.

 

They are not perfect, but are generally very nice.

The sheets missing the blue ink were the most numerous in nice condition overall & are very cool looking.

 

I have five of them that have wrinkling/slight smooshing at the top right corner and a little along the edge below. I have the most of these and am pricing them to move at $49 each SHIPPED in the U.S. These have blank backs.
