While I can't agree that sales indicate the true popularity status of a particular character.

I will admit that Spider-Man has been and alway will be my fav!

 

I mean hell he better be with my over 450 issue run of Amazing!

 

My first comic book I ever owned was issue 147 off of the stands

it is well loved tattered and torn.

 

It is the one book that I will keep forever.

 

Unless some madman offers 50X the guide for it of coarse.

Spider-Man 2 has now reached more then One Billion Dollars in World Wide Boxoffice sales.

 

Out of curiosity... where did you get that info? IMDB.com shows that they're still below the $800 million mark, but they have been known to be a bit behind before. If you could give a link that would be great.

I heard it on CCN Headline news...I checked box officee mojo and it shows $817 Milion so CNN must have been refering to DVD sales as well. .. thanks for pointing that out... still an awesome number
