All of mine from the Chicago signing last year got removed from the window bags. :D

 

Really? That's too bad.

 

It ended up OK. Per the norm, my books were SA 7.5-8.5 copies so they didn't get hurt by the handling, and the sig location was actually pretty good.

sorry to hear man - I cant think of a way to re attach the cover without it being considered resto, but like others have said. maybe get another copy to have signed and just eat your loss.. OR you can just keep it as is and just leave it "together" in a mylar for your own personal collection? ... my 2c
