No, it’s not a reprint, it’s the first (and only) italian edition. And they are pretty scarce.

I wasn’t comparing them (a direct comparision is impossible), just stating that the collecting prices are very different across markets, regardless if we are talking of foreign editions of another countries' comics or local productions.

 

We don’t have single pieces valued at more than ten thousand dollars in Italy, and the few that are are an exception.

Yes, but I see his point: it‘s not the original edition and I wasn’t comparing them. I was just stating that as the first italian edition (and the very first Marvel italian comic in comic book format) il Sergente Fury #1 is historically important, and being scarce it never sells for less than those prices.

 

Clearly a Sgt. Fury #1 is more important, but in terms of mere rarity it surely had a bigger print run than those italian editions put out from a small publisher before Corno started to publish Spidey, Daredevil, the FFs and Thor.
