Nice books!

 

On the front cover of this one, has someone taken a yellow marker to the logo? I think the logo on the US edition has plain white letters.

 

Also, is that a spot of whiteout on the back cover, just down from the top edge? If someone has indeed taken artistic liberties with this book, then I feel the need to ask, is there anything else?

 

Also, is there any tape?

I think I need to withdraw this book. I has in fact got white eraser (Tip-Ex) on the letters which should be yellow ( http://www.comics.org/issue/16160/cover/4/ )

 

plus as you say a dab on the back. Otherwise all seems as it should be and no tape.

Oh, I had it backwards... the US edition has a yellow logo... as does the UK edition...and on your copy, someone has erased the yellow? (Not sure what a "Tip-Ex" is... ) Magic marker? Crayon? Is it something that's reversible?

Hi,

What it looks like is what you may know as "Liquid Paper" and "Wite-Out" in the United States, known as Tipp-Ex in the UK. It looks like a line in the letters which was covered by this stuff. Dam stupid idea, anyway I didn't notice when I was listing the books. I doubt there is any sensible non cost way of getting it off and the book is not worth the effort really.
