Where do all these high grade books come from?

Very few, Charltons and Gold keys, lots of Marvel Magazines and Horror, about 900 in high grade.

It's basically being graded and submitted so that I'm not bankrupt by CGC grading fees.

 

Bankrupt? What about that "secret handshake" Hammer keeps talking about?

Unfortunately CGC works very well on the OPM business model. If you want the secret handshake payment plan just plan on waiting longer for your books.

The only books from this collection are the CGC graded DD #1, 5, 6 and Amazing Spiderman's from 149 up.

Eventually 117-191 (all the 20, 25, 30 and 35 centers) - essentially the entire Bronze Age. I have lots in 9.6 and 9.8, and should have bought more earlier. The prices are going through the moon.

9.6's are a lot cheaper , aren't they?

by a factor of 6 or 7, at least. I don't have GPA, but a 9.6 155 would go in the 80-120 range.

I have a few 9.4, a couple of 9.6s but 9.8 Gooseggs. The only good thing is mine were all bought raw for very little coin.

I'm also starting to see more Avengers 9.8's in the 100's coming out of the woodwork lately but there are so damn few in the census that there are stupid expensive. I'm going to stick with mostly 9.6's for now so I can own more than just a handful.
