Anyone buy from jscomics?

JScomics has become another Showcase New England with many buyers bidding up raw comic prices to almost CGC-graded levels. Consistently honest raw comic sellers seem to be so rare that the one's who do crop up with regular auctions attract devoted buyers.

 

I Don't even attempt to bid on Showcase NE's stuff, they go for such crazy prices. I need to get in on the ground floor with a raw seller who grades well and isn't bidded up to the stratosphere. Anyone know any?

 

Oh well, maybe I can pick up a few of the scraps that are overlooked by the regular JS buyers.

That's my general strategy as well. I notice we both bought western titles from them. Let the bidding war commence!

I collect Weird Western to fill my bronze DC horror run.....but I do have my eye on one of JS's western books.

Same here...bought a raw Man-Thing 1 and Chamber of Darkness 1 from him, both in NM and both looked pretty good. Thinking of slabbing them and flipping 'em for some slabbed DCs ( gave away my plan! curses! foiled again!)....they look pretty solid to me.

 

Hey, I bought a Man-Thing #1 (2nd series) from these guys as well. They described it as a NM+ 9.6. Just received it back from CGC today at 9.4. Close enough.

 

I bought a couple 100 pager Batman's from him he graded NM. You should have seen Doug Sulipa's eyes light up when he saw them. One he gave a chance at a 9.4.

 

A book greggy would be proud to own if it was a DC.
