I believe so. He wasn't on any of the ESB covers or on the Marvel Super Special ESB. ROTJ came out later, and he still wasn't on any of those either

I believe so. He wasn't on any of the ESB covers or on the Marvel Super Special ESB. ROTJ came out later, and he still wasn't on any of those either

 

With a quick look through my STAR WARS box, I don't see any before it!

No, there's one on ebay now and it doesn't have any notes regarding Yoda on the cover.
