Searching the registry

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but is there any way of searching the registry to see who has a particular book?

 

The book I'm looking at in particular only has two registered copies, a 9.6 (which I own), and a 9.8. I would love to know who owns the 9.8, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Not possible to my knowledge. The only thing you can really do is use the certification tool to verify that the serial number matches the comic in the case. It doesn't trace ownership.

 

You could browse the CGC registry, but that could potentially take up a LOT of time without paying any dividends.

 

You could use these boards to ask around. That's your safest bet.

On the off chance that the owner frequents the boards, the book I'm interested in is Hack/Slash: Trailers #nn.

 

To my knowledge, there's only one other book in the registry, a 9.8 SS.
