Better to sell unwanted slabs to LCS or to a dealer at a con?

I tried to move some modern slabs at Baltimore last year. It was tough and I ended up selling them here after bumping my thread a few times. I had a trade offer from one dealer, but for the most part, they just weren't interested.

 

We tend to forget how small of a market is out there for CGC books. I think it gets even smaller when we talk about moderns.

 

Yep. Slabbing moderns and expecting to sell them all quickly isn't going to work unless they're hot books. It's making CGC a lot of money but not for people who think short term.
