I had a really fun experience last weekend buying a small EC collection from the original owner. He had nothing but ECs and as you can tell by the grades and scans, he really loved them. Interestingly, he bought them when he was in high school but he read them enough and loaned them out enough that many got pretty beat up. As is typical with many collections, the nicer issues are at the end, when maybe they are losing interest or don't reread them as much. The collection ranges throughout a really wide variety of titles, with the only real emphasis on extra Mads and Panics. He really loved that stuff (why shouldn't he, it's genius!) because he then continued buying Mad Magazine throughout the rest of high school and college. (They aren't listed here but if you're interested in roughly issue 26-70, let me know.)

 

I like to list everything in the thread right at the start, so that's the next post. Then I'll follow up with scans.

 

Paypal is fine, if you're in the US other methods are probably fine too.

 

Domestic postage: $3.50 boxed first class, one to three comics. Four or more, $5.70 priority regardless.

 

International postage: Exact. Must have verified address w/paypal and depending on amount, might need to be sent priority.

OO EC's? That's awesome.

 

Yeah, fun to see exactly what he chose from the stands and how catholic his tastes were. Interesting to see that he kept up with the Mads for a long time, bought the Kurtzman Helps in the 60s, and even had a full set of the Stanford Chapparal from when he went to school there. (think Harvard Lampoon)
