Titan Books Reprinting of the UK James Bond Newspaper strip

 

The DR NO Volume, reprints the entire Strip storylines for DR NO, From Russia with Love, and Diamonds are Forever.

 

The On her Majesty's Secret Service Reprints On her majesty's secret service, and you only live twice.

 

The Spy Who loved me volume, reprints You guessed it, The spy who loved me, and the Harpies

 

The Casino Royale Volume reprints Casino Royale..DUH Live and Let Die, and MOONRAKER!

 

The books are also filled with introductions by former Bond Actors, interesting pics and notes on all things Ian Fleming and Bond related. Very cool!

 

Four Volumes , 10 classic Bond stories in a medium that really did the character justice.

 

The 4 books are Very Fine. Rather large at 8.5 X 12inches. Black and White strips. 50.00 shipped for all 4 books

Someone should buy those Barks Duck books. I have them, and they're just freaking terrific reads.

If you mean the content, Mr. A is storytelling influenced by the ideas of early 20th century philosopher Ayn Rand, which Ditko admired. At this point, it’s enjoyable, but later on Ditko’s works became too much like pamphlets rather than proper entertainment. This is the first Mr. A book, pretty scarce, and it collects the very first story from Witzend and other material. Still the very first proper Mr. A book, very cool.

Yes, a very cool book indeed. I 1st heard of it in "In Search of Steve Ditko" and have been after a copy for a while.... hm
