Flipped through a few pages of this today... didn't buy it. I like Seagle - I sometimes wonder if I am the only non-family member of his to purchase every issue of his House of Secrets off of the stands - but reading a few pages of this, it just seemed uninspired.

It was OK. I will try issue 2 to see where this is all headed. The cover really stood out on the shelf today.

Like the story so far, the art as you said was flat. Hopefully it gets better
