feedback appreciated.

 

Pages - complete. OW. no tears on interior pages. consistent bindery nic in bottom right corner throughout pages. Staples and pages tight. book lays flat.

 

FC - Blunting bottom edge and bottom right corner. smudging and slight stress lines on spine. top corner slight blunting. Good gloss.

 

BC - surface wrinkles don't break color. 1/4" tear mid point of BC :mad:

 

cover is OC, book appears to have trapezoidal cut when i was lining it up on scanner.

not sure this is the right sub-forum to ask the question and tried searching for it with no results - so apoloies

 

actaully 2 grading questions as I have conslulted the overstreet grading guide and there is nothing firm on these points...

 

cover tears - what is the view on the maximum grade a book can get if it has 1 small cover tear, say 1/4"? Does the tear immediately start the book as tsay an 8?

 

miswarp - is a little white border at the spine considered miswrap? as a bidery defect is it worth a 1.0 or 0.5 knckdown on grade?

UPDATE found ths - miswrap impact on grades

 

again, apolgies if these have been covered - couldnt find and not sure what best sub-forum is to post the question...
