I can't believe this. Some people can actually bump up a book 2 full grades w/o blinking an eye and go to sleep at night. Truly amazing.

 

This has to be my favorite part: "This comic has been bagged and boarded in my closet for over 20 years."

I put it on paint and blew it up. The flaws are strikingly very similar.

I wasn't able to blow his up a whole lot since his picture was pretty small to begin with. The flaws are in the exact same places! The color fade is identical too

The book is listed as NM 9.4, and the assigned OS value is $140 in NM condition, and $83 in VF condition, I won the book for $60. If it has flaws that make it a VF 8.0 then I would be disappointed, but I could live with it. IF it has flaws that make it a 7.5 or less then I'm going to be pissed.

Naw, the scan looks nice, but there is a lot of surface wear that brings it down which the scan doesn't show. ....BUT remember 20 years in my closet! BWHAHAHA
