Small color breaks along spine

 

Slight stubbing on bottom corner of spine

 

Looks like a small diagonal crease on back lower right spine area

 

I'd say 9.2 - 9.4

 

This is a beautiful book! ( also that stain or chip along top back edge as well)

Doesn't the piece out on the back cover drop this easily out of the NM range to no better than 7.5? It's a gorgeous book but it's missing a piece (admittedly, a small one). I'm no expert so don't take my question as more than a question. I'll I'll hang up now and listen to the experts.

It does not look like a chip but rather a 2ml stain at the top of the back cover to me. Although on second thought I might be inclined to drop the book down to 9.0 because of the cover being off center.
