Every fanboyz bronze holy grail is up on Heritage right now: the orig. comic bk art to J Byrne/Austin's X-men 137 (death Phoenix) double pg splash w/ all the heroes depicted. Estimated at $10k, but will easily realize $20k +. A much better investment than Hulk 181 cgc 9.8 at $19,600. tongue.gif

Agreed...that piece is amazing. Its sheer size and ambitious scope make this piece more spectacular than even any of the classic covers from the run, IMO (though the price realized won't reflect that; I seem to recall that even the not-so-memorable cover to #113 fetched $30K a year or two ago).

 

If only we were back in the bubble days of 1999-2000! I would have seriously considered making a run at this piece back then...hard to rationalize these days, though, with economic, market and geopolitical concerns what they are. frown.gif
