PGM Aquaman #21 (1965) Freak From Atlantis!!!

Jeeze, I can get a straight scan of a comic to save my life.

 

 

Just picked this up and would like some opinions on the grade

 

Overall, lies nice and flat. No wear to the outside edge of the spine or around the staples.

 

FC:

 

LEFC color-breaking stress mark near 12 cent price box

 

LEFC a couple of subtle spine stresses

 

LLFC wear to bottom spine edge

 

Color loss to black area of FC - some of it is due to wear-and-tear, some may be the result of a printing defect, I can't say for sure

 

Slight ink wear to the LEFC near spine

 

BC:

 

URBC tiny chip out of top of spine

 

REBC a couple of very faint finger print stains in the white margin to the right of the ad

Finger prints can really knock the grade down, which I find very irritating.

Is it your scanner or is the book that vivid? Bonus points if its not the scanner would bring it to 8.0
