I was a huge fan of tese games back int he 90s. It looks like Good Old Games is re-releasing a bunch of old school Lucas Arts games

 

With no new Star Wars comics coming out for at least the next six to eight months, looks like more late nights. When I was in college I would stay up all night playing X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter.

I still have the original disks back at my parent's house. God I loved those games.

I downloaded both and played X-Wing and it is every bit as early 90s PC play as I can remember

I bought X-Wing back in the day months before I even owned a PC that would play it! Over the years I've tinkered with various DOS emulators trying to get it and Tie Fighter to run correctly, but it never really worked. I gave up after I stopped putting floppy drives in my PCs. I'm all over this one! Ya, I'm going to have to buy a new flight stick too.

Anyone recommend a good (and relatively cheap) joystick for this piece? I am uneducated in such things...

I'll probably just pick up a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro off of Amazon. About $35 or so.
