PGM Thor #132 (Copy A and B)

I am undecided on which to keep between two copies I have.

I like better this copy, but has slight corner wear. No hidden defects aside from these you can see in the scans…

 

 

 

The other copy is this one, better corners but has a small tear at a staple.

I like the top copy best. I would say it is a 7.0-8.0.

 

The color breaks are much more significant in the bottom copy.

In fact I just re-checked them and aside from the small staple tear the second copy is really a beauty, so I picked the second.

There is staple creasing in both, more or less in the same amount, centering is good so they are similar, but I would say at least half a point better for the second…

I liked the second one at first then at a 2nd look I think they are about the same 7ish.

Does the second one have a crease vertically above Thor's leg?

You’re right: there is a very slight creasing above Thor’s leg, hardly visible in hand.

I agree they are similar, and on the grade: I am prone to grade Copy A a bit lower, in the FN+ range (in fact, I just did so as I placed it on sale) and I will keep Copy B which is indeed a bit better, FNVF is OK.

P.S. Back cover of Copy B is pretty much flawless, that’s why I did not scan it.
