I bought this from Metropolis as a 9.0. I agree with the grade. It might press up one grade, but you see the spine tics that account for this being a 9.0 in my opinion. Notice the date stamp (well, it's kind of hard not to notice, but whatever).

 

EDIT: That appears to be ink transfer on the back cover.
