I got a favor to ask. I used to be a member and now I dont want to pay 40 or 50 bucks just to find out what this one painting sold for years ago. Would anyone who has access be so kind as to message me to help me find out what price this painting I am looking at sold for?

Yup-- I do this for all my street and contemporary art purchases. ArtNet has gotten a little over the top with the price and what you actually get out of it.

Hey that is great advice. Unfortunately it didnt have the artist I was looking for but I saved this site into my favorites. Thanks a bunch for the tip!

You could try askart.com. It also has a subscription but if you know the approximate timeframe, they may have the listing. If you find the right piece, the trick to get the info is to "see all lots for this auction". You then get the date and the auction house where you can then go to their site and search their archives directly, which will give you the price.....
