PGM Fantastic Four #44

Definitely the best one of the group, and the very first that I bought because I loved Gorgon and the cover was one of my favorites. It’s been in my collection for at least 20 years although I’d love to find a whiter covered copy.

Biggest defect appear to be:

– slight wear in the bottom right and left corner;

– some spine stress around top staple (at the bottom of the corner box).

Many thanks as usual! (thumbs u

You are right, there is a crease, hard to see in hand (I did not see it at a glance!) but the scanner does not forgive… and some soft creasing in that area, otherwise the book would lie pretty much flat. I guess 7.0 is the maximum but if that crease was slightly larger would not have been higher than a 6.5.

There appears to be a larger/lighter crease above the small one in the corner. I am going 6.0

Hey, we have been discussing this at large… :D

Even by CGC standards a crease of that size should allow at least a FN+, surely not a FN, but I’d love to hear more opinions. (thumbs u
