Please grade my Star Wars #42!

Nice book overall. Horizontal printing crease on both covers. The most noticeable thing is that tiny pink spot in the center of the cover... how hard would you ding the grade for it? Thanks all!

Not sure what CGC would think. For me I will say 9.0/9.2 without and around 7.5 with the pink blemish.

Am I crazy, or is there a pretty good sized crease on both the front and back covers in the text box? Looks like it's in the same place on the back... does it go through the whole book?

 

Also the pink printing on the back.. is that from the inside of the book or is that from being ontop of another book? Other copies I've seen didn't have that. On the back near "Expert Builder Series" you can make out words.

 

Can't offer grade without this info, sorry. But curious what others think.

Those look typical of a non grade affecting printers crease, considered a manufacturing defect. Does not affect grade, just eye appeal.

I can see an 8.0 - don't think I'd take it down to a 7.5.
