X-Men #142 9.4 (what is the extra piece of paper on the right edge?)

I believe it is a mis-cut. Extra paper which was supposed to be cut down but was somehow missed? You see it a lot on newspapers and magazines, but I don't know how common it is in comics.

 

Ok thanks. As long as it is not a tear.
