Yeah, and yet they can't grade Treasuries because "they are too big" :facepalm:

 

lol certainly can't grade those Treasuries..Just way to big!!

I do not see how they are going to distinguish between what is a real poster and what is a reproduction. There are many reproductions that are not considered reproductions when others are or posters made from original stock.

 

This sounds like a nightmare.

 

They'll need to bring on zzutak as a consultant! (thumbs u

Grade a treasury please. It's not nearly as large.

 

For treasuries - would assume that a slab mold would be way too costly -

 

The posters are not in rigid plastic slabs - you use the same materials for a treasury and the are now more susceptible to damage.

 

Make a plastic slab - and the press size required to mold a treasury size JUMPS. Likely jumps to a specialized molder - who will do clear plastics. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
